Safe Journeys offers a safe atmosphere where survivors of domestic and sexual violence can find support, resources, and strength as they journey toward healing and thriving in LaSalle and Livingston counties.

Our Services

Support Line

We are always available to listen to you and to connect you with support and help. Our support line is available 24/7 by calling 815.673.1555 or 800.892.3375.

Safe Shelter

We offer emergency, short term shelter for persons unsafe due to domestic violence and their unsafe household members while they determine the best options for their family.

Court Advocacy

We provide support for survivors of domestic or sexual violence in the criminal and civil court systemsssss.

Supportive Counseling

We help survivors sort out their feelings, develop new coping skills, and discuss their options as they begin to heal and rebuild their life.

Case Management

Staff assist clients with such things as assessing and prioritizing needs and connecting with community resources.

Education Programs

We provide school-based and community-based education programs focused on prevention of domestic and sexual violence.

Partner Abuse Intervention Program

PAIP offers assessments and 26 week psychoeducational groups for persons who use violence against their partner.  This service has a sliding scale fee.

Virtual Services

Offering virtual services in addition to having physical locations in Ottawa, Peru, Mendota, Pontiac and Streator.

Safe Journeys provides free and confidential support to survivors regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, immigration status, abilities, age, or background.  PAIP services are offered on a sliding scale basis.
