Family Color Run

 The 5th The Annual Safe Journeys Color Fun Run will begin and end at Twister Hill Park in Streator (Directly south of Streator High School) and follows the Hopalong Cassidy Trail on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 (Rain out day is 6/27). The Color Run is for any age and ability level! The Color Run portion of the race will be held through the first .70 miles of the course (and back) and the remaining portion (no color) extends another .70 miles, where the race turn around will be located.  Runners that choose to run the entire race should expect a total course length of 2.8 miles.  Individuals can choose to turn around at any point along the course.

Please arrive at Twister Hill Park 15 minutes prior to the start of your heat to sign in and receive your t-shirt and other goodies. The event kicks off at 8:30 AM with heats at 8:30AM, 8:40AM, 8:50AM, and 9:00AM. Registration will close on May 15th, 2026, so sign up today! Thank you for your support!

NOTE: This event is non-official and will not be timed.

Water will be provided along the trail.

Registration costs $15.00 and covers race entry, a t-shirt and water. Your registration will go towards empowering survivors of sexual and domestic violence in LaSalle and Livingston Counties.

This year, we have a new option: Group registration! Groups over 10 people will receive a discount – $12.50 per person instead of $15.  Groups should download the form below to register.

All sponsorships/registrations are requested by May 15, 2026 to ensure we have adequate time to produce the race t-shirt.
