FREE Services

Professional Trainings

Preventionists provide trainings for professionals in various settings on sexual harassment prevention, how to recognize and respond to domestic and sexual abuse, and how to be trauma-informed. We are able to tailor professional training on various topics based on the needs of your group/business.

Policy Education & Change

Preventionists hold knowledge in Title IX, prevention education mandates from the State of Illinois, and sexual harassment prevention policies. We offer professional trainings on policies, as well as support the process of policy change.

Educational Sessions

Preventionists provide educational sessions for youths and adults in school and in the community on child sexual abuse prevention, body safety, bullying prevention, teen dating violence prevention, skills for healthy relationships, and domestic and sexual violence prevention.

The Safe Journeys Prevention Team have about three decades of experience combined in the field of prevention education and public health. We hold a treasure trove of resources for domestic and sexual violence prevention and are happy to provide resources, consultation, and support based on the needs of your school, business, or organization.
